Meadow Crest Early Learning Center provides an inclusive preschool program for 3 to 5 year olds. Children who are typically developing and those with special needs are served in the same classroom.
The program is provided by the Renton School District at no cost for children with special needs, starting as early as their third birthday. Typically developing children must be three years old by August 31st and pay a tuition. Tuition is $200.00 per month beginning with the 2016/17 school year. Our transportation department does not provide transportation for our tuition students, you must self-transport your child.
State certified early childhood special education teachers, classroom assistants, speech and motor therapists provide a classroom program focusing on skills learned through play. Class size rarely exceeds 15.
Preschool meets Monday through Thursday for 2 1/2 hours with both morning and afternoon sessions available. Our morning session is from 9:45am - 12:15pm. Our afternoon session is from 1:15pm - 3:45pm.
Support Services: Provided by certified Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP), Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), School Nurse and School Psychologist.
