Enrollment Selection Process (for Preschool Programs)All parent(s)/guardian(s) seeking to enroll their child (ren) into Early Head Start, Head Start or the Next Door Charter School must complete a Pre-Application, Intake packet and Enrollment packet to be considered for selection into the program.A family's "need" to participate in one of Next Door's Early Childhood program is determined by the number of accrued points or priority rating. This point system will also be used to develop and maintain a classroom waiting list. The waiting list ensures that qualified children are ranked according to needs and assures that only eligible children will have the opportunity to enter the Early Head Start, Head Start and Charter School Programs as vacancies occur throughout the current school year.Items needed to determine eligibility Proof of Age (Birth Certificate, Immunization Record) Proof of Income (W-2, Pay Stubs, Public Assistance, Day Care Authorization etc.)Completed
