Ann Klose Head Start in Albany County was first established as a pilot project in 1965. It became a permanently funded activity with Albany Community Action Partnership in 1966. They provide many programs such as Head Start and Home-Based Head Start to children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. They have extended day and year classes at two of their center locations(Albany for children whose parents work or attend school.)
