The YMCA preschool program encourages exploration, creativity, and self-expression through developmentally appropriate activities. Child-guided learning experiences support healthy spiritual, intellectual and physical development. Y staff portrays positive role models while providing care, which is supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each child's needs.  The Y Preschool program is successful because of the extraordinary people who make it all happen each day. All staff members meet or exceed state licensing guidelines and follow our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.   Literacy, language development, mathematics, science, gross and fine motor skills are integrated into the curriculum.
