Early Head Start, our Prenatal to Three program, helps families to care for their infants and toddlers through comprehensive home-based services as well as playgroups, which take place twice a month.
Our Three to Five program provides free, center-based, 1/2 day child development and school readiness programming for eligible 3-5 years olds with additional hours available based on a sliding scale fee.
Both Head Start and Early Head Start activities are individualized to meet the needs of each child, including those with special needs, and responsive to each family's ethnic, cultural, and linguistic heritage.
EdAdvance's Head Start programs operate within certain income guidelines for families. For instance, families receiving Temporary Family Assistance or Social Security are automatically eligible for participation, as are all foster children.
