About this PreSchool

HCDE's Head Start and Early Head Start serve more than 1,200 children each day.

Far too many children enter school unprepared and ultimately fall behind.

HCDE Head Start is an educational program providing children and their families the skills they need to be ready for the demands of school.

HCDE Head Start works with income-eligible children and children with special needs residing in east and northeast Harris County and helps these students achieve.

We have a 3 yr old who is speech delayed and we are wanting him to get into a school. He was on a waiting list at several schools but did not get called.
