Are there any free programs?If your family is currently experiencing financial challenges (you are receiving Cash Assistance from DHS or SSI or your income may be very low) then you may be eligible for a free program. There are other factors that may make a family eligible for a free preschool listed on our brochure. If your child will be 4 years old by December 1 of the school year, and you live in the district, the free state funded program, Great Start Readiness Program, GSRP may be the best choice . Call 248.956.5091 If your child is between 3 years and will not be 5 by December 1 of the school year, the federally funded free program Head Start may be the best choice. Call 248.956.5089To enroll in the free programs (Head Start or GSRP) families must first call the office, and then schedule a screening appointment so that we may determine eligibility.
